Last day of January.
Looking forward to a new month.
Beautiful day. Managed to vacuum one handed. A bit harder than I thought.
Will need to spring clean when my arm works again, but I am catching up on reading and office work. Finished reading my bible in 365 days today. Lots of mysteries in Revelations, but over the year I have f discovered things I did I not know where there.

Just 15 years ago at this time, I got the call every mother dreads.
My 22 year old daughter, Michelle was dead. I will be glad when my arm allows me to get back to volunteering at Compassionate Friends, hopefully next Friday.
Today I plan to reflect on her beautiful life and read her poems and letters.

The rain has cleared. after 160 ml of rain and wind we have very little damage. managing to clean in 15 minute bursts.

Plan to tackle paperwork today. Want to throw out a box of paper this week.
Rest and exercise to keep blood pressure down.
Sorted photos. Set goals for the year. Good calm day.
Lots of calls and emails from friends and family.

Went to hospital for X-ray. Ended up being admitted for high blood pressure.
Not enough exercise at present. Need to start walking. Home tonight.

Whiter than white

Tried this from Pinterest.

Put whites in very hot water with 1 cup bleach, 1/2 cup borax, scoop of finish dishwasher powder, cap of laundry powder..
I used less as only had one grungy white nylon top.
It has come out a beautiful creamy white.
Have tried bleach and napisan before, but this worked.
I am now soaking my white nylon shower curtains.
